The fifth edition of Bergen Assembly across, with, nearby (på tvers, med, nær) is convened by Ravi Agarwal, Adania Shibli and the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS), and intends to cultivate a series of collective and intimate responses to the paralysing uncertainties and cruelties inflicted in our time, and lays an aspect of its foundation in the idea of mutual care. →
Bergen Assembly 2025
Bergen Assembly 2025 is jointly convened by Ravi Agarwal (artist and researcher), Adania Shibli (writer and visual culture researcher), and the Bergen School of Architecture (BAS), an alternative educational institution. Together, they are shaping Bergen Assembly 2025 as a living, evolving process, developed over the past few years through a wide range of courses and collaborations. Read more here →
La Cantina de la Touriste
La Cantina de la Touriste is a permanent installation by the artist Sol Calero that reimagines the interior of Kafé Mat & prat. The installation was made as part of the fourth edition of Bergen Assembly, Yasmine and the Seven Sides of the Heptahedron, in 2022.
