Exhibition Hosts

August — November

        We are looking for art-interested, friendly and communicative people to join us as exhibition hosts for the upcoming Bergen Assembly.

        The positions vary between 12 and 36 hours weekly between September 1st and mid-November and will include paid workshops and training beforehand. Working hours will mainly be Tuesday to Sunday between 11:00 and 17:00, some days and venues until 20:00.

Qualifications

        -  Interest for and experience working within the cultural field
        - Open, friendly and communicative
        - Norwegian is a plus but not a must

We offer

        An hourly paid job with an opportunity to develop your communication and mediation skills through organised workshops and working independently with visitors.

Social Media and Digital Content Assistant

May — November, 20-40%

        We are looking for a detail-oriented person who is adept at social media to assist with executing social media campaigns, assist with digital marketing and to upload content to our website.

Qualifications

        - Experience with and interest in social media
        - Familiar with tools such as Canva, Indesign, Facebook Business, Instagram, Twitter, Cargo CMS, and Dropbox.
        - Fluency in both written Norwegian and English is a plus

        A paid project position with the opportunity to improve skills working with both marketing / social media / communications and international contemporary arts, with the possibility to gain more responsibility over time.

Install and Production Team members

July — September

        Join our install and technical team, working closely with artists on producing and installing their work. We are looking for detail-oriented team-players to work in a fast-paced environment, able to quickly deliver effective and creative solutions. You should have good time-management skills and great communication skills. The work is project-based, which means that work periods can be agreed upon based on availability and can thus be combined with other work / study.

Qualifications

        - Experience and knowledge of art production and fabrication, and/or art handling and installing.
        - Knowledgeable in the use of basic carpentry techniques, hand tools, power tools and paints.
        - Driving licence is a plus.

Bartender / Event Host

Now — December

        We are looking for a positive, independent and friendly person who can take on shifts during events at our office.

        There will be 2-4 shifts a month (working time of approx. 4-7 hours, often in the evening). The tasks include running the bar, in addition to being available to help organizers with various tasks such as assisting with sound equipment and arranging the space. The work is event-based, which means that there are no fixed / set working days and can thus be combined with other work or studies.

Qualifications

       - Dependable, responsible and independent worker
       - Willing to learn some simple technical setups for audio and visual equipment
       - Social and positive attitude

We offer

        We offer paid position working in service within a creative field that can easily be combined with studies or other work. The events range from small panel discussions to festival openings and performances.
