ASUiB presents: African History vs. Black History Month

February is Black History Month and for this special month, we have prepared a host of events to give us an opportunity to reflect on our history as Africans and the literature that comes from our rich continent.

Our first activity in February is an open forum event titled “African History vs. Black History Month.”

This event seeks to provide a platform for discussions on the influence of Afro-American culture on African culture and the significance Afro-American commemorations such as Black History Month have for Africans in Africa and around the world.
