Knitting Meeting for Palestine

Together we will knit patches that will become a solidarity blanket with a heart for Palestine.

Marie Skeie, who is a textile artist, will talk about the initiative and her time in Gaza. Handala - the Palestine shop in Bergen will talk about their work with solidarity knitting.

Feel free to bring knitting needles 3 - 3.5 or crochet hooks 2.5 - 3.5. If you have wool yarn in red, white, green and black that you would like to donate to Knit for Handala - Palestine shop, you are welcome to bring it.

Extra equipment and yarn is available for anyone who wants to contribute to the solidarity blanket. The blanket we make will be sold via the Handala store in Bergen for their solidarity work.

We will serve snacks and cakes from Palestine. Welcome to the event!
