This evening course is designed for artists who want to explore the basics of 3D modeling using Fusion 360—a cloud-based tool widely used in design, engineering, and digital fabrication. You don’t need any prior experience with the software: we’ll start from scratch and walk through the essential tools and workflows. The focus will be on how artists can use 3D modeling to develop their ideas, communicate clearly with fabricators, and create models of their works for production or presentation. Whether you’re interested in prototyping, sculptural design, or simply expanding your digital toolbox, this class will give you a practical introduction tailored to creative practice.

Requirements for Participation:
Participants should have basic computer skills. You must bring your own laptop with Fusion 360 already installed. This requires creating a free Autodesk account and having an internet connection during the class. Students and educators may be eligible for a free educational license—check Autodesk’s website for details. Otherwise there is a free Hobby licence.
Participation fee is NOK 300,- which will be invoiced after the workshop.
